How it works

Making the move Move your business account to Barclays in three easy steps.
1. Get in touch Apply for a business current account now or call 0845 601 0106* to book a meeting with a Local Business Manager who’ll talk through any questions you may have about moving your accounts to Barclays. 2. Meet your Local Business Manager You’ll need to meet you manager and present a few key documents so we can confirm your identity. Take a look at the list below. 3. We’ll move your accounts over Your Barclays accounts will be up and running within 48 hours. Our hassle-free Account Transfer Service will handle the paperwork and switch all your Standing Orders and Direct Debits. You’ll be able to access your account online, over the phone, or at your branch. Documents to bring with you** To move your accounts we’ll first need to see: Your passport, driving licence or EU National Identity Card A recent utility bill, council tax bill or bank or credit card statement. If your business will be trading under a name other than yours, we’ll also need to see: A trading invoice, utility bill or company stationery, including the trading name, registered address and name/s of the proprietor.
