Flexible Commercial Mortgage

  
If you want to do something different with your business premises, this could be the mortgage for you. You could buy a new building or release cash locked up in your existing one. Bendy Pencil


  Key benefits
  • A Commercial Mortgage is flexible – you could use it for a range of purposes, from purchasing your premises to releasing the equity locked in your property for business uses
  • You could free up your cashflow by taking advantage of an initial repayment holiday of up to 3 years. Interest will continue to be charged throughout the repayment holiday
  • To cover against death and/or critical illness, you can take out optional cover through Barclays Financial Planning.
  Key features
  • Any repayment period from 1 to 25 years
  • Up to 90 per cent of the valuation or property purchase price
  •
Optional repayment holiday of up to 12 months during the mortgage (during this time interest will be charged to your current account)
  •
Choice of fixed or variable interest rates, with the option to change during the mortgage term¹
  • Lending fees and associated borrowing costs will be applicable.

It’s not a condition of the loan that you hold a current account with us.

Terms and Conditions

The maximum amount of loan is 90 per cent of the market value of the property, and is subject to normal credit checks. There are some limitations for certain industries.

You must own and occupy the property that you’re offering as security.
A legal charge over your property will be required. 

¹If you repay all or part of the loan before the expiry of the fixed term, you may incur early repayment charges. There is no fee to switch to fixed or variable.
