Paying by cards
Our cards are accepted in over a million outlets in the UK and are the easy way to pay over the phone, internet or in person. They simplify your payment methods and give you extra cashflow flexibility. And they help you to separate your business and personal spend.

Barclaycard Business charge card*
Gives you peace of mind with the comfort of a single direct debit that clears your monthly balance. Also benefit from a range of additional advantages should you need to travel on business.
Accepting cards
Accepting card payments gives you access to a much wider customer base, as you’ll attract people who prefer to pay by credit, debit or charge card.
Choose to accept card payments:
In person
When dealing with customers face-to-face, your card processing system needs to be quick, reliable and secure. Our range of payment terminals, called PDQs (Process Data Quickly) are designed to do just that. All terminals are chip & PIN enabled which gives both the customer and your business a high level of protection against card fraud.
By phone, mail or internet
If you want to accept card payments by phone, mail or internet, we have three dedicated payment options:
-
ePDQ Lite is designed for sales by phone and mail
-
ePDQ CPI is designed for online sales and gives customers the reassurance of ordering through a Barclaycard Business payment page
-
ePDQ MPI is also for online sales and enables you to design your own payment pages on your website.
Internationally
Barclaycard Business International can help you offer your customers a choice of currencies in which to make a payment. We’ll work with you to create a solution that works along with your existing systems and makes international card processing simple.
